Gayle Handshu has over 30 years of experience as a Realtor, beginning her career

In California in 1986 in a very active market.  She earned the award for “Rookie of the Year”.  Gayle has been a Realtor in Fl since 2005 and has recently joined Century 21 Premiere Elite Realty in Pinecrest, Fl.  She says that “as a former school teacher, working with buyers and sellers was a natural fit for me.”  She is very detail oriented, and has organizational and planning skills.

Through her persistence and perseverance, she has listed and sold all types of homes—from mobile to mansions.  She will go the extra mile to make sure all facets of your home purchase or sale go as smoothly as possible, and be there for you every step of the way.  She even drove from San Diego to Los Angeles (about a three hour drive each way) to pick up papers for a seller to sign when she represented the buyer to make sure a sale would close on time.

Gayle’s specialty is representing buyers and sellers of condo properties, but also sells houses, investment properties, and handles rentals.  She is ready, willing, and able to serve clients in the Pinecrest, Kendall and surrounding areas in Miami.  She also has experience working with Veterans.

She has served on a Condo committee through the Sunnyvale, CA Board of Realtors.

Gayle is a member of the National Association of Realtors, The Florida Association of Realtors, the Realtor Association of Miami-Dade County, and is a participant in the MLS listing exchange.

Gayle Handshu is an active member of Congregation Dor Chadash, Dor Chadash Sisterhood, a life member of Hadassah, and a long-time member of New Neighbors Womens’ Organization of South Dade. She served on the New Neighbors Board for one year as corresponding secretary, writing the monthly newsletter.  She was also chairperson of the “Out to Lunch” group for two years, arranging monthly luncheons for up to forty women at various local restaurants.  Gayle inadvertently started a group now known as “Table for Six” during Miami Spice a few years ago.  The six women take turns arranging monthly luncheons for the group at various restaurants.

She and her husband, Steven, also belong to Kendall Couples Club, a group that dines out twice a month.

In her “spare time”, Gayle enjoys traveling, playing mah jongg, attending the theater and movies, and dining out with friends and her husband.

Civic duties include working as a clerk on County Elections for 10 years and also working on the 2000 and 2010 decennial censuses.

Gayle has many social and professional contacts. She has worked with many lenders, title companies, and home inspectors. She gives her clients the utmost in professional care, and will be available to make sure that your transaction gets closed in a timely manner.
