I grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania very close to Penn State University. The same university that I attended after graduating from high school. I wouldn’t trade growing up in a rural town. I played outside until the street lights came on, I went camping, I hiked and fished, I rode my bicycle with neighborhood friends, and all things outdoors. My core values come from being raised in a very tight-knit community where your neighbors are your friends, and everyone reaches a hand out to anyone who may need just a little extra help. I learned the value in people and the value of a dollar, and that community is so important. My parents were not wealthy, we had a modest, clean home, and we all had chores. I appreciate that. I know they are looking down at me now and proud of the kind and driven human being that I’ve become. In this same small town, I thrived academically and in sports like gymnastics, swimming, track and field, and all things horses. My first jobs were babysitting and working on a horse farm doing whatever was needed, just so that I could be close to the horses and go home every day with their smell on my skin and clothes. While in college, I rode on the Penn State Equestrian Team. We were National Champions two years in a row. Go PSU!! I have trained horses professionally for over 30 years, and owned, and operated a 65-acre full service equine facility. I also remained passionate about gymnastics having coached both at the high school level and Junior Olympic level. I helped prepare the girls for collegiate gymnastics programs where some of them are competing today. I am a proud U.S. Army Veteran! While enlisted, I advanced to the rank of Sergeant and received many leadership awards and medals. This service added to my pride for this country and the wonderful people that call it their home beside me. I work well with others, I am assertive when needed, but most importantly, I listen. I still own income producing property in PA, and I have helped many investors create and develop their real estate portfolios. I am also passionate about helping home buyers find what they love, as well as what they need. And, these people become my friends because we shared the experience together. I value this the most. I will never stop listening, growing, and educating myself. Above all else, I will continue to use my experience to create the best experience for my clients.
