Patricia Delinois, President, CEO of Century 21 Premier Elite Realty did a presentation to Miami among more than 250 Realtors who traveled from around the United States to learn about the latest international trends, how to market their properties, establish international business relationships, and continue their professional development at the 19th Annual International Real Estate Congress in Miami, FL on November 3-5, 2013.
“Miami is the new global city. That has gotten the attention of foreign Buyers. 60% of the Buyers in Miami are International Buyers, 90% of those Buyers buy cash.This is an outstanding program for anyone involved in any phase of real estate services – residential, commercial, investment, lending, legal and professional services of any kind in the United States and with neighboring countries and cities”, Delinois said.
This year’s conference brought together an array of nationally and internationally known real estate industry experts, forecasters, and national speakers to address the hottest industry issues, including factors that are influencing trends in international real estate investment and development. High- level delegations from approximately 9 countries and several U.S. cities traveled to Miami to network with Real Estate practitioners from the United States and around the globe.
The conference provided an “excellent opportunity” to connect with the colleagues from other areas and to maximize business opportunities for inbound and outbound investment. “ I also was impressed by the rapid globalization of our industry and the movement to use new technology, such as Proxio, iMapp, and WorldProperties.com, which serve as models for information, marketing, services, and data exchange worldwide,” Delinois said.
The conference, hailed as “the premier international Real Estate event of the year” featured National Association of REALTORS (NAR) Chief Economist Lawrence Yun’s keynote session “Economic Update and Markets to Target for Foreign Investment,” Condo Vultures Realty Founder Peter Zalewski’s Condo Market Representing 100 offices & 6,000 Professionals and “Miami: The Global Brand” by the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau President and CEO William D. Talbert, III. The two-day event also featured international market briefings by foreign delegates from MIAMI partner associations, gala receptions and attendees from all over the United States and from Latin America and Europe. The conference will be held again on November 2-4 2014 in Miami.
